A stay at the chalet is the perfect time to relax and leave technology behind. Board games are at the heart of the pleasures of a stay at the chalet, animating discussions and causing laughter. During this time, everyone forgets their smartphone and has a quality time with their family.

Quite a game of circumstance, isn’t it? Now 4 deadly viruses threaten the planet and you must join forces, from 2 to 4 players, to defeat the pandemic. Each part is different depending on the characters that you will draw for even more fun.
We like: the cooperative spirit of the game that makes a difference from competitive games. You can play in small groups, which is perfect for this year’s intimate celebrations.
Do you like to laugh? This anything but serious game is for you. It will certainly trigger several giggles as each player has to insert a small plastic device into their mouths that will make it difficult to correctly pronounce the sentences that appear on the playing cards. Nothing more to add, you have to try it to understand!
We like: everyone goes out of their comfort zone and nobody takes themselves too seriously.
* Take care to disinfect plastic dentures between games and not to mix them between players for safe play.
Improvise that for me!
This game designed by comedian and host Alex Perron is guaranteed to laugh. Form teams, the goal of the game is simple, but effective. Form teams, then draw a card and learn about the crazy scenario that will be your starting point for your improvisation.
We like: the “Alex Handicap” cards which make it difficult for you.
500 popular expressions and titles of well-known works (songs, movies, TV shows, etc.) were broken down. Each word in the original phrase has been replaced with a synonym, antonym, or related word. Your mission: find the original sentences as quickly as possible.
We like: you can even play in the car on the way to the chalet to pass the time. It only takes two players to play.
The object of the game is to find as many mystery words as possible. You have to find the best clue to help your teammate and be original, because all identical clues will be canceled!
We like: we all play together with each other rather than against each other.
The dumpling game
Divide the players into two teams. Each player should write 5 to 10 names on slips of paper, then crush them to form small balls. These could be stars, public figures, people you know, children’s characters, you make your own rules. The object of the game is for the member of his team to guess the name on the dumpling being drawn. In a given time, we have to guess as many dumplings as possible. In the first round, you have to guess the word by naming other words that are related to it. In the second round, have the mime guess it and in the third round you can name a single word capable of making the word on your dumpling guess. Each guessed word is equivalent to a point.
We like: we can improvise this game at the last minute with a few pieces of paper and pencils.
The overwrapped gift
You certainly know this game so simple, but oh so effective. First, wrap small gifts in several boxes with several layers of wrapping paper. Plan a pair of oven mitts for each person to put on when unpacking the package. Place the players in a circle and pass the gift around each other for up to 15 seconds. The person who manages to finish unwrapping the gift will import it.
We love: this game always arouses excitement, regardless of the age of the participants. As an added bonus, it’s a fun way to unwrap Christmas presents.
